A set of three period documents pertaining to Werner Eduard Fritz von Blomberg (2 September 1878 – 13 March 1946), who was Minister of War and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces of Nazi Germany and the first general to be promoted to Generalfeldmarschall in 1936.  Included is a large 5x7 photograph of Blomberg, a card thanking someone for attending his wedding to his second wife, Erna Gruhn, who me married in 1938.

The wedding was the pivotal event used by Göring and Himmler to unseat Blomberg from power, when they accused Gruhn's mother of having been a former prostitute and porngraphic model.  Rather than end his marriage, Blomberg resigned his post to avoid scandal.

Also included is a typed and hand-signed card thanking someone for their hearfelt wishes on the occasion of his anniversary.  In this case, anniversary is most likely his service anniversary either to appointment as Generalfeldmasrschall or some other such career posting.

The set has been archivally matted, and is ready for framing.
