Uniform of a CBI pilot named to Robert T. Simeral. First is a visor cap which has been preserved in near mint condition. Wool tricot top, leather visor and strap, maker marked 'Flighter by Bancroft'. The cap spring was removed, most likely by the original wearer, to give it a 50 mission crush. Blouse is marked 'Regulation Army Officer Uniform' and features superb theater made bullion sleeve patches--CBI and 10th Air Force. The blouse includes the officer's 3 inch pilot's wings, ribbon bar, collar/lapel insignia, and Captain's bars. There are also several insect bites as shown in the images. Trousers are matching green. Khaki Army Regulation Officer's shirt shows normal use. Matching neck tie also included. As shown, there are numbers and letters written on the trouser inside pocket fabric. Very fine named set!
