DESCRIPTION

Luftwaffe Flak Artillery Oberleutnant's white summer tunic is constructed of white pique cotton with removeable insignia and buttons. Collar tabs have sewn snaps for attachment to the collar, while the buttons have "s" rings. The removeable breast eagle is the controversial light metal Assmann marked type, which some collectors feel is pre-1945 and others believe it to be a fake. Easily exchanged, if desired, with another, it is attached via 2 thread loops.  Decorations are included, and consist of the 1939 Iron Cross I. Class (which should be a 1914 Iron Cross I. Class due to the 1939 Spange also being present), the 1939 Spange to the Iron Cross I. Class (an unmarked B.H. Mayer in Buntmetall with pinback in excellent condition), Luftwaffe Flak Badge (an unmarked Buntmetall Juncker type 3 in excllent condition), and a Black Wound Badge. The Iron Cross I. Class has some residue on its reverse as can be seen in the images. The tunic shows use and wear with some yellowing to the cotton fabric, but is undamaged.
