A mixed ensemble consisting of an AH marked meat serving tray with draining insert and cover with the RK Reich Chancellory property marking. The bottom tray is correctly roller marked with the eagle and "A H".  The removable drain insert is roller marked "A H".  The lid with folding handle is roller marked with the eagle and "R K".  The silver plating shows much toning. The inside of the lid is maker marked "Württembergische Metallwaren Fabrik". Overall the set is in excellent condition with no dents or damage.  The style of the RK lid is the same as those of the AH serving pieces so the appearance and fit is perfect. Very difficult to find!

This piece was originally sourced from the collection of the son of US ArmY Corporal Stanwood Griffith who liberated a number of Hitler and Eva Braun artifacts from the Berghof in May of 1945.  Many of the items his father liberated are depicted in a two volume book series the son wrote.  This piece is supposed to be featured in "Volume III" of the series.  The piece was purchased from and comes with the original write-up from this dealer.
