DESCRIPTION

Excellent example of the 1923 TeNo Honor Badge. Die struck badge shows undamaged enamel and the pin is maker marked by "Wilhelm Fühner, Pforzheim".  Correctly serial numbered "1905" and marked "Ges. Gesch" on the reverse. The badge retains its original antique bronze factory finish. It's still housed in its original leatherette covered presentation case with a label on the bottom with matching serial number. As a bonus, the original recipient's name label is also still attached "Franz Nordhoff". The case shows wear and handling as can be seen in the images.  Outstanding set that may be possible to research.  Note: TeNo badges with the Karl Hensler maker's name have been heavily faked, but when compared to an original, betray their cast construction.
