Excellent Purple heart and Bronze Star grouping, consisting of the cased Bronze Star and Purple Heart to Staff Sergeant Floyd Snook, who served in the 1st Infantry Division in WWII.  Both medals are engraved with Snook's last name (not goverment engraved, but privately engraved).  Both the medals come with the original formal award documents.  Also present is an 8x10 original studio portrait of Snook, who surived the war after being wounded during the Battle of Aachen in Germany.  Snook died in 1946.  He was from Arkansas.  Also included are other medals of Snook's, plus his Combat Infantry Badge (made of sterling silver), and a patch from his uniform.
