Wehrmacht Artillery Officer's visor, denoted by the red piping on the exterior.  Fine quality specimen produced by Pekuro.  Exterior features fine grade doe-skin wool with two moth nips to the field grey hat body.  Also one moth nip to the green felt band at the back of the hat.  Chin cord is tight and in superb condition.  Interior shows age to the sweat band, and tearing in places (see photos).  One initial is present (the letter H), with the other missing.  Black velvet "comfort fit" band used by this manufacturer is present.  Sweat shield is hard to read, but shows the correct "Stirndruckfrei Deutsches Reichspatent" nomenclature, as well as the distributor's trademark (rare to see) above it - Fr. Beuriger Kaiserslautern.  Good quality specimen with a high "peak" front, perfect for uniform display, or in a visor cap collection.
